.NET Developer
Job Overview:
Founders Software is seeking a .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain business software applications that support operational efficiency and customer needs. This role involves building application features, integrating databases and external services, troubleshooting technical issues, and improving the reliability and performance of existing software products.
The ideal candidate has experience with Microsoft development technologies, enjoys solving complex technical problems, and can collaborate with product managers, QA professionals, and other developers to deliver dependable software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain software applications using C#, .NET, and related technologies.
- Build and enhance application features based on product requirements.
- Develop APIs, backend services, and integrations with external systems.
- Work with relational databases and write efficient SQL queries.
- Troubleshoot defects, investigate root causes, and implement reliable fixes.
- Improve application performance, maintainability, security, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and software release activities.
- Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and project stakeholders.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow established coding standards.
- Support existing applications while contributing to modernization initiatives.
- Participate in Agile development planning and continuous improvement.
- Help ensure software quality through testing, debugging, and code optimization.
Requirements:
- Professional experience in .NET development or a related software engineering role.
- Proficiency in C# and familiarity with the .NET or .NET Core framework.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming and common software design principles.
- Experience with SQL databases and data-driven applications.
- Understanding of REST APIs, application integration, and software architecture.
- Familiarity with Git or similar version control tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot software issues and develop practical solutions.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a development team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and database optimization.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience developing or maintaining SaaS and business management applications.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, cloud hosting, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and automated quality assurance.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
