We take pride in fostering a respectful and inclusive work environment that supports and values each team member.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site position for a Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) Operator based in Darien, WI. The HDD Operator will perform daily tasks related to the setup, operation, and maintenance of horizontal drilling equipment. Responsibilities include interpreting project plans, executing precise drilling operations, communicating with team members to ensure safety and efficiency, and troubleshooting equipment issues. The role also requires adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards while ensuring the successful completion of all assigned projects.QualificationsProficiency in operating and maintaining HDD equipment and related machineryAbility to read and interpret blueprints, utility maps, and project specificationsStrong troubleshooting, repair, and mechanical diagnostic skillsEffective communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with on-site personnelKnowledge of industry safety standards and commitment to safe work practicesExperience with underground construction and directional drilling techniques is highly beneficialValid driver’s license; a Unrestricted CDL-A is preferredFlexibility to work in various outdoor conditions and work extended hours as neededHigh school diploma or equivalent; related training or certifications are preferredAbility to Travel required
