Our focus is to deliver a consistent, high-quality guest experience while protecting owner assets and optimizing revenue.We operate with high standards, strong accountability, and a commitment to operational excellence across all departments.Position SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Housekeeping Manager to support the execution and quality control of our housekeeping operations, with a primary focus on inspections and standards enforcement.This role is heavily field-based and responsible for ensuring that every home meets Beachside VR's cleanliness and presentation standards prior to guest arrival. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail, a strong sense of accountability, and the ability to identify issues before they impact the guest experience.This position also plays a key role in verifying the accuracy and completion of housekeeping tasks within our operational systems.Key ResponsibilitiesInspections & Quality Control (Primary Focus)Conduct thorough pre-arrival inspections across all assigned propertiesEnsure homes meet company standards for cleanliness, staging, and readinessIdentify and document deficiencies, including cleaning gaps, maintenance issues, and inventory shortagesVerify all key areas (kitchens, bathrooms, linens, high-touch surfaces, under furniture, etc.) meet expectationsBreezeway Oversight & AccuracyReview and validate housekeeping tasks within Breezeway for completeness and accuracyEnsure tasks are properly completed, documented, and closed outFlag inconsistencies or missed items and ensure corrective action is takenTeam Support & AccountabilityProvide clear, direct feedback to housekeepers based on inspection findingsSupport the Housekeeping Manager in maintaining team accountability and performance standardsAssist with cleaning turnovers as needed on high-volume daysOperational CoordinationCommunicate real-time issues to Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Guest Experience teamsAssist in prioritizing re-cleans or urgent corrections ahead of guest arrivalsMonitor readiness status across properties to ensure on-time turnoversQualificationsPrevious experience in housekeeping, inspections, or quality control (short-term rentals, hotels, or hospitality preferred)Strong attention to detail with the ability to consistently identify cleaning and presentation issuesFamiliarity with housekeeping operations and turnover processesExperience using or willingness to learn platforms such as Breezeway and SlackAbility to work in a fast-paced, field-based environment with multiple propertiesClean driving record and valid licenseCompensation & Benefits$17–$19 per hour, based on experienceTwo (2) weeks paid time off (PTO)Opportunity for growth within operations and housekeeping leadership
