Software Architect, Data PlatformOur client is seeking a Software Architect, Data Platform to lead the design, integrity, and scalability of a high-volume data platform. This is a hands-on architecture and engineering leadership role focused on solving complex data challenges, including telemetry ingestion, data accuracy, system reconciliation, and large-scale platform reliability.The ideal candidate is a data-first architect with deep expertise in relational database design, SQL performance optimization, and data correctness who has expanded into cloud-native application architecture and engineering leadership.Key Responsibilities· Own the architecture, quality, and integrity of the organization's data platform.· Design and optimize relational and time-series data models supporting high-volume telemetry data.· Lead a distributed engineering team while driving best practices in code quality, testing, observability, and operational excellence.· Establish technical architecture direction across backend services, data products, and customer-facing applications.· Develop and maintain production-grade backend services using modern cloud technologies.· Evaluate technology, storage, and build-versus-buy decisions based on scalability, reliability, maintainability, and cost.· Lead technical design efforts for new platform capabilities, integrations, and data-driven products.· Partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.· Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence.
