Full-time, true generalist Anesthesiologist needed for an ongoing locum role in Des Moines, IA. This position requires broad clinical skills across multiple service lines and in-house call (including weekends). Providers focusing solely on OB are not considered.Assignment details include start ASAP, full-time schedule, and rates up to $450/hr. The practice involves hospital and surgical center settings within a Level II Trauma Center, supporting 28 operating locations with a team of 45 anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and tech staff. Providers work independently at times with occasional CRNA supervision.Clinical scope covers general, orthopedics, urology, robotics, cardiac, and pediatrics cases. Required skills include proficiency in regional, spinal, epidural anesthesia, TEE certification for cardiac, and fellowship for pediatrics. EMR systems include Epic and paper charting. Credential requirements are board certification or eligibility, ACLS/BLS, and flu vaccination.
