Project Engineer (Multifamily Construction) (Remote)Our client, a company focused on developing and building multifamily apartment complexes, is seeking a Project Engineer to support their construction operations.This is a highly administrative and coordination-focused role, designed to support project execution by managing documentation, permits, and communication between internal teams and subcontractors.The primary function of this role is to support construction projects through administrative coordination, documentation management, and communication with vendors and subcontractors.Manage and track project documentation, including plans, permits, and contractsAssist with RFI (Requests for Information) creation, tracking, and follow-upsSupport permit submission processes and ensure compliance with local requirementsMaintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and construction documentsCoordinate with subcontractors and vendors for updates and information gatheringAssist project managers with day-to-day administrative tasksTrack project timelines and ensure documentation aligns with progressCommunicate updates across teams to ensure alignment and efficiency2–5 years of experience in construction, project engineering, or related rolesStrong understanding of construction documentation and workflowsExperience handling RFIs, permits, and project documentationHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong communication and coordination skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and project management toolsAbility to work independently in a remote environmentExperience in multifamily construction projectsFluent Spanish (highly preferred) to communicate directly with subcontractorsFamiliarity with construction management software (Procore, Buildertrend, etc.)Experience working with distributed or remote construction teamsFull-time, remote positionSchedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM PSTAdministrative and coordination-heavy role supporting active construction projectsOpportunity to work on large-scale multifamily developmentsHigh exposure to construction operations and project workflowsClear path to grow into more senior project management rolesFast-paced, execution-focused environmentEarly-career construction professionals looking to grow into project managementDetail-oriented individuals who thrive in documentation and coordination rolesCandidates comfortable working behind the scenes to keep projects movingBilingual professionals who can bridge communication with subcontractors
