Pay: $42,500.00 - $55,000.00 per yearJob description:Technician 3, Reagents ManufacturingReporting to the Associate Director, ManufacturingKey ResponsibilitiesExecute technical assignments as instructed in standard operating procedures or as provided by group leadersBasic ISO quality awareness as related to manufacturing processesMaintain complete and accurate laboratory records in accordance with Prolytix policies and procedures and Good Manufacturing PracticesPrepare buffers and reagents required for manufacturing-related operationsQuantify and perform inventory release assays of protein preparationsOperate complex laboratory equipment with supervision as neededHandle biohazardous materials in a safe mannerMaintain a clean, organized and efficient laboratory environment as directed by group leadersEnsure all laboratory tasks are completed in a timely mannerAdvise group leaders of low inventory levels of raw materials and supplies critical to the ISO lab spaceGenerate and revise manufacturing Work Instructions in accordance with Prolytix policies and proceduresAdvise group leaders of areas for improvement including safety and manufacturing processesRepresent Prolytix in a professional manner at outreach events or trade showsGaining skill in effectively communicating scientific knowledgeOther duties as assigned by group leadersJob RequirementsEducation and ExperienceB.S. or B.A. in biomedical field along with basic laboratory experience (college laboratory courses or laboratory work-study)General understanding of amino acid and protein structureAbility to complete basic technical and biochemical calculations (e.g., buffer formulations, spectrophotometric calculations, dilution calculations, etc.)About ProlytixProlytix, formerly Haematologic Technologies (HT), is a leading provider of analytical and bioanalytical services to support the research, development, and commercialization of large molecule biotherapeutics and reagents for coagulation research.
