Director of Strategic Market Enablement
OverviewPrimary Function: The Director, Strategic Market Enablement is a senior leadership role responsible for developing, communicating, and leading the strategic market enablement initiatives for Cook Medical's iMRI technology. This role is pivotal in aligning market development efforts with divisional product strategies to ensure the successful introduction and adoption of new technologies in global markets. The Director will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives, enhance market positioning, and ensure alignment with Cook Medical’s overall vision and strategy.ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Strategic LeadershipDevelop and lead global market enablement strategies for iMRI technology, aligning with divisional and corporate objectives.Collaborate with senior leadership to refine strategic goals and drive market readiness initiatives, including AI integration and EHR support.Market DevelopmentDirect global market development efforts to enhance product adoption and positioning.Manage the iMRI Market Development team, ensuring alignment with divisional strategies and effective execution across global regions.Cross-Functional CollaborationEngage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive implementation of market enablement strategies.Facilitate alignment across functions to support strategic initiatives and market development goals.Performance OptimizationEstablish and monitor KPIs to track the success of market enablement initiatives, optimizing strategies based on data-driven insights.Risk Management And InnovationIdentify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful execution.Incorporate industry trends and innovations into strategic planning to maintain a competitive edge.Team LeadershipLead and develop the iMRI Market Development team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.Ensure effective succession planning and leadership development within the team.Operational ExcellenceOversee the efficient execution of market enablement strategies, including product roll-outs and market expansion.Collaborate with commercial teams to optimize profitability and ensure product availability throughout the lifecycle.Qualifications Qualifications College degree in a related field and/or equivalent relevant experience. Minimum 12 years of relevant work experience, including but not limited to product management, engineering, sales, and/or marketing. Advanced degree (Masters or MBA or equivalent) may reduce the years of experience requirement. Demonstrated experience in market enablement and product management within applicable product portfolios and markets. Three or more years of experience leading a global product or market enablement team, with product and people management responsibilities for multiple product lines and/or portfolios or an entire specialty/program. Proven experience in global market strategy, leading teams, and cross-functional collaboration.Preferred Qualifications MBA or equivalent advanced degree. Ten or more years of global market enablement or product management experience in the medical device industry. Prior experience leading organizational change and driving market adoption of new technologies. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams. Demonstrates positive and constructive behaviors that drive team cooperation in achieving market objectives.Physical Requirements/Work EnvironmentAbility to travel domestic, international, and weekends up to 75%.Work under general office environmental conditionsOther RequirementsEmployee signs a non-competition and confidentiality agreements in relation to his/her employment with Cook.
