Holland Elementary Location: 50 Holland Court Satellite Job Number: 000344 School Year: 2027 FY Position: COORDINATOR-BREVARD AFTER SCH Subtitle/Areas: BEGINNING SALARY Based on classification and pay plan for Non-bargaining employees: Grade 09 $17.55 per hour Apply By: 05/15/2026 Date Available: 07/13/2026 Status: All ApplicantsContract: 10 Month Hours/Day: 8.000 Qualifications/Certifications: SCOPE: Provide the leadership, development, and supervision necessary for a financially stable and successful childcare program EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: REQUIRED: High school diploma or equivalent. Two years (2) successful experience in childcare or similar program. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience using common computer software applications (Microsoft Office Suite or similar); experience using basic bookkeeping principles and standard business functions or equivalent combination of training and/or experience. PREFERRED/DESIRED: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, or a related field preferred. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/TRAINING: REQUIRED: Department of Children and Families Standards for Quality Afterschool Programs (SQAP-8 hours online as in-service) and Quality Self-Assessment and Improvement for Afterschool Programs (QSAI-4- hours online as in-service) or equivalent DCF-AMAP Course Achieving and Maintaining Quality Afterschool Programs-12 hours; and School Age Certification/ BAS Academy Levels I, II, and III (72 hours online) complete within 90 days of appointment. Preference may be given to candidates holding CDA (Child Development Associate) Certification or Vocational Child Care Training degree. American Red Cross or American Heart Association First Aid/CPR/AED certification. Valid State Driver’s License.
