Director of FinanceThe Director of Finance will lead the financial operations and strategic planning for our medical device organization. In this high-impact leadership role, you will be responsible for managing a current revenue of $54M while driving the business toward a 20%+ year-over-year (YoY) growth target. Reporting to the CEO, you will oversee a dedicated finance team of four direct reports and serve as a vital partner in the company's rapid expansion.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership: Act as the primary financial advisor to the CEO; lead long-range business modeling and financial planning for high-growth medical device lines.Team Management: Direct and mentor a finance team of four professionals, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture during organizational restructuring.Financial Operations: Oversee all bookkeeping, monthly reporting to Paris headquarters, and the annual budgeting/reforecasting process.Compliance & Legal: Manage relationships with external legal counsel and the Group Legal Director on corporate matters; ensure adherence to GAAP and relevant healthcare financial regulations.Treasury & Tax: Oversee bank relationships, payment approvals, and taxation (Sales Tax and CIT) in coordination with external tax specialists.System Optimization: Lead the automation and simplification of internal financial processes, integrating AI tools to enhance overall efficiency (in partnership with CIO).Requirements & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or Master’s in Finance is strongly preferred.Certifications: Active CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA credential is highly desirable.Experience:10+ years of progressive finance experience with at least 5–8 years in a senior leadership role.Proven experience managing financial operations for companies with $50M+ revenue.Demonstrated success in a high-growth (20%+ YoY) environment.Background in the medical device or healthcare sector is a significant plus.Technical Skills:Deep expertise in capital lease accounting.Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle) and expert-level Excel.Soft Skills: Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate complex financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
