We're growing fast, and we're building a finance team to match that ambition. The OpportunityThis isn't a seat-filler role. We're hiring a Junior Accountant who wants to become a future finance leader at MJH — someone who treats their first job out of college as the start of a career, not a checkpoint. You'll get real ownership early, exposure to senior leadership, and a clear path to grow into senior accounting, FP&A, and other advanced roles as you prove yourself. If you want to clock in, clock out, and coast — this isn't the role. If you want to be the person your team can't imagine operating without three years from now, keep reading. What You'll DoSupport the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals. Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate variances. Help maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP. Contribute to the preparation of internal financial reports and support external audit requests. Identify process inefficiencies and propose improvements — we want your ideas, not just your data entry. Partner cross-functionally with business unit leaders to understand the "why" behind the numbers. What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, conferred within the last 12 months. Strong academic record; CPA-eligible or actively pursuing CPA licensure is a significant plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel — pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and the ability to learn advanced functions quickly. Strong analytical mindset and genuine curiosity about how businesses operate. Excellent written and verbal communication — you can explain a variance to a non-finance manager without losing them. High attention to detail and personal accountability for your work.Working knowledge of AI and desire to build further. What Sets The Right Candidate ApartYou ask "why" before you ask "what." You finish things. You're comfortable being the most junior person in a room and still speaking up when you spot something off. You treat feedback as fuel.
