Forward Deployed Engineer | AI Startup | NYCPrimis is partnered with a well-funded AI startup building an observability and evaluation platform for AI applications in production.They're Series C, backed by strong institutional investors, with significant funding behind them and a growing customer base of Fortune 500 enterprises.They're hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to join a growing Solutions Engineering team and act as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers.What you'll work on:Partner with enterprise ML and GenAI teams to help them understand and improve how their AI performs in productionLead technical discussions with data scientists and engineers, then shift gears to business conversations with directors and executivesAdvise on GenAI and ML best practices, model evaluation, and production deploymentDemo the product to both technical and non-technical audiencesFeed customer insights back into the product roadmap by working closely with engineering and product teamsIdentify and drive expansion opportunities within existing accountsWhat we're looking for:Background as a Data Scientist, ML Engineer, or Engineer working with ML or GenAI applications in produ ctionHands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Familiarity with ML frameworks and LLM/agentic toolingSolid understanding of the ML lifecycle - feature generation, training, deployment, and real-time scoringProficiency in Python or another programming languageStrong communicator who can make complex technical concepts accessible to any audiencePrevious customer-facing experience (Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, CSE, Consultant) is a strong plusRemote with offices in NYC or SFInterested?
