Qualifications: 3+ Yrs Customer Service Experience / Hospitality Food handler certification REQUIRED Experienced in a high volume, fast-paced restaurant and/ hotel background Creates an engaging welcoming environment for customers Previous cash handling experience preferred Responsibilities: Lead with Apollo Service Standards Excellent service from register, expo and beyond the counter Manage customer queue lines Count the register - open and closing Manages and produces daily beverage needs (fresh orange juice + coffee) Close out the register at night Accurately input customer orders into the POS (Point of Sale) system Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently Maintain cleanliness on counter and in garbage areas Communicate and work closely with the cooks to ensure order accuracy Support fellow cashiers and collaborate to ensure workflow Creates memorable moments with new and repeat customers Overview:In addition to the overall cashier role, the FOH Assistant General Manager helps run the guest-facing side of Apollo Bagels. You will make sure things move smoothly from the register to the drink station to the dining area. You’re responsible for keeping the front clean, organized and welcoming, while helping the team stayon top of daily routines and tasks.Your responsibilities include:Daily Operations:● Lead daily open, mid-shift and close routines● Assign team members including yourself to different areas like register, expo or runnerso the flow stays smooth● Make sure drink stations are fully stocked and cleaned throughout the day● Check that all drink and coffee equipment is cleaned and maintained properly at the endof each shift● Restock supplies and keep all guest-facing areas tidy and organizedGuest Experience:● Make sure guests are greeted quickly and taken care of● Be on the floor to keep things moving and fix small issues as they come up● Stay alert to the vibe—keep things upbeat and friendlyCleanliness & Organization:● Keep the beverage and seating areas clean and stocked throughout the day● Use checklists to make sure tasks like restocking, wiping down tables and generalupkeep get done regularlyMoney & Checklists:● Handle daily cash tasks—bank runs, checking drawers and making sure everythingmatches up● Make sure all checklists for opening, mid-shift and closing are completed fully and ontimeOur Benefits include: Health Care, Vision, Dental (after 90 days) 401k Option(s) (after 90 days) Competitive hourly wage Complementary employee shift meals Career development opportunities – we are growing fast!
