Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionPosition SummaryThe Shipping Coordinator is responsible for the accurate, timely execution of outbound shipments for customer parts orders as well as any parts returns to suppliers. This role ensures shipments are packaged, labeled, documented, and released in accordance with customer requirements, shipping regulations, and internal procedures.The Shipping Coordinator works closely with Parts Coordinators, Quality team members, and Purchasing to ensure completed orders are shipped on time and supports Plasma-Therm's installed base by enabling reliable delivery of spare parts during routine and urgent service events.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesExecute daily outbound shipments for customer parts orders and any returns to suppliers/vendorsPackage, label, and prepare shipments in accordance with shipping requirementsCoordinate with Parts Coordinators to ensure orders are complete and ready for shipmentPrepare and verify shipping documentation for domestic and international shipmentsRelease shipments on schedule to meet customer delivery commitmentsSupport expedited and time-sensitive shipments during customer tool downtime eventsEnsure compliance with internal shipping procedures and safety requirementsMaintain accurate shipment records and documentationCommunicate shipment status or issues to internal stakeholders as neededBusiness ImpactDirectly supports on-time delivery performance for spare parts shipmentsEnables service responsiveness and customer uptime during critical support eventsPrevents shipment backlogs that delay customer support and field service activitiesContributes to customer satisfaction and retention across the installed baseReliable shipping execution is essential to maintaining customer confidence and supporting ongoing spare parts and service revenue.RequirementsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrior experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, or order fulfillment preferredAbility to follow shipping instructions and documented proceduresStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentEffective communication and teamwork skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with domestic and international shipping processesFamiliarity with ERP, shipping, or inventory management systemsExperience supporting technical or manufacturing environmentsWork Environment & Physical RequirementsWork performed primarily in a warehouse and shipping environmentAbility to stand, walk, lift, and package materials as requiredMay require lifting of parts within established safety guidelinesKey CompetenciesAttention to detailTime management and prioritizationReliability and follow-throughTeam collaborationCustomer support mindset
