Position OverviewTenure-Track or Tenured Faculty positions at all ranks (Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor) in Aerospace Engineering with Rutgers University-New Brunswick's School of Engineering. Department: Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering. Full-time position. Salary commensurate with experience. Appointment may involve one or more engineering departments. The department has over 40 full-time faculty and serves more than 1,100 undergraduates.ResponsibilitiesTeach graduate and undergraduate courses in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.Develop a nationally recognized, externally funded scholarly research program.Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration within the School of Engineering.QualificationsMinimum: Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a closely related field, completed by appointment. Demonstrated excellence in research, potential for or record of external funding, and strong commitment to teaching and student success.Preferred: Expertise in aerospace sciences, aircraft and spacecraft structures, propulsion, materials, structures, or space systems.
