This role is not open to relocation candidates)Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote*We are unable to provide sponsorship for this role**This FTE role is not open for C2C or Third-party recruiters*QualificationsBachelor’s degreeExceptional communication/writing skills and the ability to interface across departments3+ years of experience as a data analyst, data engineer, software engineer, data scientist, financial risk analyst, business intelligence analystAbility to write and optimize complex analytical (SELECT) SQL queriesAbility to write and optimize python for custom data pipeline code (virtual environments, scripts vs. modules vs packages, functional programming, unit testing)Strong Experience with data visualization tools - Tableau and/or AlteryxExperience with GitPreferredExperience with transformation/semantic layer frameworks, such as dbtFamiliarity with services on at least one cloud computing platform, such as AWS or Azure, or a cloud data platform such as Databricks or SnowflakeFamiliarity with data modeling design concepts such as 3rd-normal form or denormalization modeling concepts such as star-schemaExposure to batch orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Dagster, or PrefectUnderstanding of applied statistics and hands-on experience applying these conceptsResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain analytical solutions drawing from both raw and semantic data layersPartner with business units to gather requirements and develop targeted analytics solutionsCreate data models ensuring information availability in the analytics warehouse for analysis and dashboard developmentHelp establish Data Analytics standards and collaborate with embedded business analysts to ensure adherenceDevelop comprehensive documentation and testing protocols to guarantee data accuracy and accessibilityIdentify and distribute data and analytics best practices across the teamContinuously expand knowledge of data and analytics engineering methodologies to enhance infrastructure maintainability and reliabilityChampion self-service capabilities and data literacy among business users through semantic layer utilization, analytics platforms (Tableau, Python), and CI/CD tools
