IT Support Triage Coordinator
Critical new contract opportunity open for local candidates in the Lancaster, PA area. Possibility to convert to fulltime status after the initial 90-day contract period.The IT Support Triage Coordinator serves as the first point of coordination for incoming IT support requests and is responsible for ensuring tickets are routed efficiently to the appropriate teams or individuals across the organization. This role manages the unassigned support queue, prioritizes incoming requests, and works closely with departments such as the Applications Group, Infrastructure, and End User Support to maintain timely resolution and strong customer service. The coordinator plays a key role in maintaining ticket quality, and ensuring requests are properly categorized and assigned.In addition to ticket coordination responsibilities, the IT Support Triage Coordinator directly fulfills a variety of straightforward end-user support requests. These include provisioning and replacing standard peripherals such as headphones, mice, keyboards, and docking stations, as well as assisting with company phone setup, updates, changes, and basic mobile device support. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.The ideal candidate is customer-service oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced IT support environment with multiple competing priorities. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, the ability to triage and prioritize requests effectively, and a collaborative approach to working with technical teams and business users.
