Information Technology Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Lab Technician to support hardware testing, imaging, deployment, and troubleshooting activities within a fast-paced lab environment. This role will be responsible for configuring systems, executing test plans, investigating failures, maintaining lab documentation, and supporting hardware and software validation efforts across Windows-based platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform PC hardware diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis on desktops, laptops, and related equipment.Execute and automate testing activities using PowerShell scripting for system configuration, log collection, deployment, and test execution.Support BIOS updates, firmware validation, and troubleshooting efforts across various hardware platforms.Build, image, deploy, and maintain test systems using industry-standard imaging and deployment tools.Conduct failure analysis, reproduce reported issues, and document findings for engineering teams.Assist with system setup, configuration, and maintenance within a lab environment.Develop and maintain technical documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), architectural diagrams, whitepapers, and instructional guides.Support Windows operating system testing, validation, and feature-level troubleshooting.Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure accurate execution of test plans and validation processes.This role is paying between 28-31/hr based on the years of experience. This is a year long contract with a major technology company here in the U.S.
