Job Title: Healthcare Owner’s Representative / Program ManagerJob DescriptionAn experienced Program Manager is sought to oversee a significant portfolio of healthcare capital projects in Anchorage, Alaska. This role will act as the primary representative for the owner, offering leadership across planning, design, construction, and project closeout. The position involves managing projects with a total value exceeding $300 million, including a skilled nursing facility and an emergency department expansion. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered according to scope, schedule, budget, quality, and regulatory requirements.ResponsibilitiesAct as the Owner’s Representative overseeing a portfolio of healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.Provide program-level oversight of schedule, budget, cost controls, risk, safety, and quality across multiple concurrent projects.Lead coordination between owners, designers, contractors, consultants, and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs).Ensure compliance with healthcare, federal, and Alaska-specific building requirements, including cold-weather and remote construction considerations.Review and manage construction documents, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications.Support procurement strategies and contractor performance management.Deliver executive-level reporting, forecasting, and issue escalation.Ensure continuity of leadership coverage during a transitional period.Essential Skills10–15+ years of construction, program, or project management experience.Proven track record managing complex capital programs exceeding $100M in total project value.Demonstrated experience working as an Owner’s Representative or Owner-side Project Manager.Experience with federal healthcare projects, ideally including Indian Health Services or similar public-sector work.Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC Certification) - ASHE highly desirable.Additional Skills & QualificationsDirect healthcare project experience (hospital, clinic, skilled nursing facility, or similar).Strong understanding of Alaska’s construction environment, logistics, and regulatory framework.Experience delivering projects in remote, high-complexity, or logistically constrained environments.Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate at the executive level.Work EnvironmentThe position is based on-site at the Anchorage office, with periodic site visits to projects, including a long-term care facility in Anchorage. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Anchorage, Alaska, or commit to a long-term on-site presence.
