This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes preparing files for production, ensuring accuracy, and keeping jobs moving efficiently through digital print workflows—while also supporting basic customer service and order intake.Core ResponsibilitiesPre-Press & File Preparation (Primary Focus)Prepare customer-supplied files for digital and wide-format printingCheck artwork for resolution, sizing, bleed, and color accuracySet up imposition, nesting, and scaling for efficient productionCreate and edit cut paths for contour cuttingPreflight files and troubleshoot print issues before outputOperate RIP software (Onyx or similar preferred)Graphic Design SupportMake minor artwork edits and revisionsCreate simple layouts for business cards, flyers, and marketing materialsPrepare proofs for customer approvalCustomer Service & Order IntakeAnswer incoming phone calls and assist with print inquiriesRespond to emails regarding quotes, orders, and timelinesGreet walk-in customers and help collect job specificationsReview incoming files for print readinessCommunicate production requirements and turnaround timesProduction CoordinationCollaborate with production staff to prioritize workflowManage multiple jobs and rush orders simultaneouslyAssist with quality checks prior to outputRequired QualificationsProficiency in Adobe Illustrator & PhotoshopStrong understanding of print file setup and pre-press workflowsKnowledge of bleed, trim, safe area, and color modesHigh attention to detail and organizationComfortable handling phones and customer communicationAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentPreferred (Not Required)Experience with RIP software (Onyx, Fiery, Caldera, etc.)Digital print production familiarityBasic wide-format knowledgeExperience in a print shop or quick print environmentCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay (DOE)Overtime opportunitiesPaid time off & holidaysAdvancement opportunities within AlphaGraphicsBenefits401(k)Training & developmentApply TodaySubmit your resume and (if available) a portfolio highlighting pre-press or print production work.Apply directly through CareerPlugAbout AlphaGraphics IrvineWe are a locally owned print, marketing, and visual communications company focused on delivering high-quality print solutions with fast turnaround and exceptional customer service.J-18808-Ljbffr
