hackajob is collaborating with MANTECH to connect them with exceptional professionals for this role.MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Programmer to join our team in Tampa, FL.The Programmer will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to provide programming services for a variety of specific systems and business, military, scientific, or commercial applications.Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToProvide programming services for a variety of specific systems and business, military, scientific, or commercial applicationsParticipate in systems analysis, design definition, software development, systems test, implementation, and maintenanceAnalyze coding problems and develop improvements to procedures and existing softwareDesign, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement software code, including HTML, CGI, and JavaScript, for website componentsCultivate and apply a security-first and test-first approach to test-driven developmentExercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining resultsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions in cloud and containerized environmentsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 4+ years of mid-level experienceStrong professional experience in software development and programming using modern languages such as JavaScript, Python, and HTMLProven expertise to design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement high-quality codeHands-on experience working in a wide variety of computing environments, specifically including cloud platforms and containerized solutionsDemonstrated experience applying test-driven development and secure coding practicesPreferred Qualifications6+ years of experienceAdvanced experience with modern web development frameworks such as React, Angular, or DjangoExperience with specific cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS or AzureHands-on experience with container orchestration tools such as Docker and KubernetesFamiliarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies as well as CI/CD pipelinesExperience using Generative AI for software developmentClearance RequirementsAn active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCIPhysical RequirementsMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc..Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
