ACE teachers support the district's school turnaround strategy by implementing rigorous instructional practices, participating in structured instructional coaching and professional learning cycles, and collaborating closely with campus leadership to rapidly improve student outcomes.Teachers assigned to ACE campuses are expected to demonstrate strong instructional practice, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to work within a highly collaborative, results-driven environment focused on measurable student growth.All employees of Spring Independent School District are expected to act with integrity, support organizational goals, communicate in a clear and respectful manner, champion the needs of our students, and drive continuous improvement.QUALIFICATIONSEducation* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.CertificationValid Texas teaching certificate appropriate for grade level and/or subject area assignment required.Teachers assigned to Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 3 and Special Education must hold or obtain:Reading Academy completion or equivalent credential, orScience of Teaching Reading (STR) certification, in accordance with state requirements.ExperienceRequired* Two or more years of successful classroom teaching experiencePreferred* Experience working with diverse student populations* Bilingual fluency beneficial in some settingsHighly Qualified Teacher Criteria (ACE Campuses)Teachers selected for ACE campuses must demonstrate strong instructional effectiveness through one of the following pathways:Pathway 1 - Frequent standing, walking, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
