Responsibilities
Perform thorough cleaning and decontamination of scenes involving biological hazards, trauma, or other biohazardous materials using specialized cleaning techniques and equipment
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction skills to dismantle and remove damaged materials such as carpets, drywall, or flooring
Conduct fire restoration processes to eliminate smoke damage and residual odors effectively
Execute water damage restoration tasks including extraction, drying, and mold remediation to prevent further structural issues
Implement asbestos abatement procedures safely when required, following all regulatory guidelines
Use various restoration industry tools and equipment to restore properties to their pre-incident condition
Maintain detailed documentation of all cleanup activities, safety procedures, and materials used to ensure compliance with health standards
Qualifications
Prior experience in the restoration industry or a background in construction is highly preferred
Knowledge of cleaning techniques specific to biohazards, fire damage, water damage, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently
Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor in various environmental conditions
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to thoroughness and safety compliance
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is desirable but not mandatory
Certifications related to restoration services or hazardous material handling are a plus
