Landscape Architect
DEA is seeking an experienced full-time Landscape Architect to help us achieve our core purpose of improving the quality of life and stewardship of built and natural environments. This position can be located in Woodinville, WA, or Portland, OR within our Land Development Business Unit which includes civil engineers, landscape architects, and urban planners, who possess a passion for shaping urban form and creative responses to client needs. We focus on commercial, industrial, and residential land development, mixed-use and infill development, in addition to parks, trails, open spaces, urban planning, and design for municipal, public works, transportation, and private development clients.

General Responsibilities:
Project and task management
Design and documentation for Landscape Architecture Projects
Concept, Schematic, Design Development, and Construction Drawings
Construction detailing, grading, and ADA accessibility
Planting and Irrigation design
Plan Set Preparation
Construction Administration during construction of Landscape Architectural Projects
Preparation of plan and 3D graphic presentations of proposed design concepts and project exhibits for digital presentation.
Junior staff mentoring
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture
7 to 15 years of experience in the Landscape Architecture field
Experience preparing site and planting plans in AutoCAD v. 2018 or higher and/or Microstation V8i or “Connect”
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Knowledge of ornamental and native plants for any of the locations noted above (WA or OR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience and competency with Sketch Up, Revit, Land FX Programs, and Lumion.
Landscape Architecture license in Oregon or Washington
3D rendering and hand graphic skills
Interest and experience with land planning and urban design

Anticipated salary range: $80,000 - $115,000 based on experience.
Potential office locations include: Portland, OR; Woodinville, WA.
