PACKAGING OPERATOR I – 3RD SHIFT Location: Northridge, CA Openings: Four Pay: $25.25 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 p.m.-5:30 a.m. Interview: One in-person interview at the manufacturing facility Initial contract going until end of 2026 with extension possibilities. We are hiring four Packaging Operators to support the manufacturing and packaging of regulated healthcare products. This is a hands-on, third-shift production position working alongside technicians in a team-oriented manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: Assist technicians with packaging and filling operations. Locate, pick, and stage raw materials and in-process materials. Clean production lines and maintain an organized work area. Handle and dispose of manufacturing waste according to established procedures. Follow SOPs, GMP, documentation, gowning, PPE, quality, traceability, serialization, and safety requirements. Complete basic production data entry and reporting. Escalate unusual production, quality, or safety issues. Participate in training and continuous-improvement activities. Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Previous manufacturing, production, packaging, assembly, or machine-operation experience. Up to one year of experience is sufficient. Reliable transportation to and from the facility. Ability to work Monday-Friday from 9:00 p.m.-5:30 a.m. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Ability to read, write, communicate, and follow instructions in English. Basic math and computer data-entry skills. Good manual dexterity for repetitive production tasks. Ability to stand for up to four hours at a time and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Willingness to use required hearing and respiratory protection. Flexibility to support occasional shift-leveling needs. Safety-Shoe Requirement: All new hires must have ESD-rated, chemical-resistant safety shoes with either steel toes or carbon/composite safety toes. Preferred: At least one year of experience in an FDA-regulated or GMP manufacturing environment. Experience with packaging, filling, production-line cleaning, documentation, or material staging.
