Routine urine drug testing plays a critical role in documenting compliance and identifying potential illicit drug use.As a Collector, you will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and proper handling of all specimens while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform urine and blood specimen collections in accordance with established protocols, ensuring specimen integrity at all timesExplain the drug testing process to patients and obtain required consents and signatures on requisition forms and related documentationAccurately complete and review all paperwork to ensure compliance and prevent delaysResolve paperwork holds within 48 hours of notificationProperly package and ship specimens to the laboratory in a timely mannerMaintain appropriate inventory levels of clinic supplies and prevent rush shipping situationsBuild and maintain positive, productive relationships with clinic staffMaintain a professional business appearance and demeanorAdhere strictly to HIPAA and confidentiality regulationsTravel to assigned clinics as required (reliable transportation required) QualificationsRequired:High School Diploma or GEDCurrent CPR Certification or be able to sit for the certificationStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyPrevious Phlebotomist experience for 5+ yearsPreferred:Previous hands-on medical experience (e.g., Medical Assistant, CNA, Phlebotomist, or similar clinical role)CompensationStarting at $18.00 per hourIf you are dependable, detail-oriented, and take pride in delivering professional patient care while representing a growing diagnostic organization, we encourage you to apply.
