This is a unique opportunity to contribute to NYSERDA's mission by enhancing public awareness of our programs and achievements.Position OverviewAs a Communications Project Manager, you will play a key role in implementing a strategic corporate communications program. You'll assist in writing and editing communications deliverables, managing content, and coordinating activities to support both internal and external audiences.Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage content for press releases, op-eds, talking points, and other documents to support public and media relations efforts.Ensure consistency of vision and tone across all communications deliverables.Identify opportunities to expand earned media reach by monitoring and analyzing trends.Collaborate with management to provide recommendations for public relations efforts.Work closely with the Corporate Communications team to ensure professional standards of accuracy, clarity, and style.Build networks within NYSERDA and other energy and environment agencies.RequirementsBachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations, or a related field.At least 2 years' related experience in corporate or government communications or public relations.Strong writing, editing, and project management skills.Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Asana.PreferencesExperience in the clean energy sector.At least 4 years' experience in corporate communications or public relations.Experience fostering respect, diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.Ready to take on this exciting challenge and contribute to a sustainable future?
