Build Your Career with AshleyFurniture!Electro-Mechanical TechnicianElectromechanical Techniciansmaintainand repair electromechanical drives,sensorsand automated machinery while working with maintenance and engineers to install and evaluate electromechanical systems to support the manufacturing process.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repairelectrical and mechanical failures on production equipment including conveyors, automated machinery, CNC equipment, robotics, and material handling systemsTroubleshoot complex systemsusing electrical schematics, PLC logic, mechanical drawings, and diagnostic equipment toidentifyroot causes and implement solutionsPerform preventive maintenanceon manufacturing equipment following established schedules, including inspection, lubrication, adjustment, and replacement of componentsWork with electrical systemsranging from 120V to 480V including motor controls, variable frequency drives (VFDs), sensors, relays, contactors, and control panelsService mechanical systemsincluding hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, chains, belts, drives, and power transmission equipmentProgram and troubleshootprogrammable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and building automation systemsRespond to emergency breakdownsquickly and efficiently to minimize production downtime and restore equipment to operational statusMaintainaccuratedocumentationof repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment history in computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)Ensure safety complianceby following lockout/tagout procedures, OSHA regulations, and company safety standards for all maintenance activitiesCollaborate with production teamsto schedule maintenance during planned downtime and communicate equipment status to supervisors and managementQualificationsRequiredTechnical degree or certificationin Electromechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field (Associatedegree preferred)Minimum 3-5 yearsof industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong electrical troubleshooting skillswith ability to work safely on 480V three-phase power systemsMechanical aptitudewith hands-on experience servicing hydraulic and pneumatic systems, power transmission equipment, and industrial machineryPLC experience- ability to read ladder logic and troubleshoot programmable controllers (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms)Blueprint readingproficiency- interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and P&IDsValid driver's licenseand ability to pass background check and drug screeningPreferredJourneyman Electrician Licenseor equivalent certificationVFD programming and troubleshootingexperience with variable frequency drivesWelding and fabrication skillsfor equipment repairs and modificationsRobotics experiencewith industrial robots and automated systemsCMMS experienceusing maintenance management software for work order trackingLeanManufacturing or Six Sigmaknowledge and continuous improvement mindsetWho We AreAt Ashley,weremore than a businesswerefamily.
