This position plays a vital role in transporting finished goods and raw materials across regional routes, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with transportation regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesTransport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants, retail locations, and distribution centersSafely operate and maintain a Class A commercial vehicle, adhering to DOT regulationsPlan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules and optimize efficiencyInspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, performing routine preventative maintenanceManeuver trucks into loading and unloading positions, ensuring proper freight handlingCollect and verify delivery instructions to ensure accurate shipmentsDocument and log work/rest periods, mileage, and fuel/toll receiptsInput data into automated systems, including macros for loading/unloading stagesComply with truck driving rules and company policies, including regulations on size, weight, parking, and break periodsReport defects, accidents, or violations in a timely mannerQualifications Proven work experience as a truck driver, preferably in OTR/regional truckingHands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB radio, etc.)Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly across regional routesExtensive knowledge of truck driving rules, regulations, and DOT complianceStrong adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, delays)Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and DOT medical certificationCommitment to safety, professionalism, and teamworkBenefits Competitive pay structure, including mileage, delivery pay, and retention payDedicated regional routes - regular home timeHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off (PTO) and holiday payCompany-provided equipment401(k) retirement plan with company match
