This role leads internal auditing efforts, supports quality improvement initiatives, and partners with leadership to identify trends, enhance performance, and drive high-quality outcomes. The Quality Analyst also plays an important role in onboarding, training, and supporting team members while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.What You’ll DoPerform comprehensive inpatient coding and clinical validation audits (MS-DRG and APR-DRG) Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) supporting internal teams and client needs Review medical records to ensure accuracy in coding, documentation, POA assignment, and discharge disposition Analyze audit findings, identify trends, and recommend improvements to enhance quality and performance Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute audit plans focused on compliance, revenue integrity, and process optimization Present audit results and provide actionable feedback, education, and guidance to team members Support onboarding and training of new hires, contributing to overall team development Assist with complex client cases, queries, and deliverables as needed Stay current with regulatory guidelines (CMS, IPPS, HCCs, DRGs, etc.) and ensure adherence across all work Build strong client and internal relationships to support satisfaction, retention, and growth Qualifications CCS, RHIT, RHIA, CDIP, or CCDS required 7+ years of inpatient coding, auditing, and/or CDI experience required Advanced expertise in full inpatient code auditing, including diagnosis/procedure coding, POA, and DRG assignment Strong knowledge of MS-DRG and APR-DRG methodologies Experience with encoder, CAC, and EHR systems Solid understanding of physician query processes Experience in education, training, or mentoring (preferred) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally Why Enjoin At Enjoin, We Offer a Comprehensive And Thoughtful Total Rewards Package Designed To Support Our Team Members Both Professionally And PersonallyComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company match Generous PTO package plus 8 paid holidays 100% remote work environment with company-provided equipment Professional development and growth opportunities, including leadership training and internal mobility Recognition programs and performance-based rewards aligned to our values Employee wellness resources and discount programs through our benefit offerings Supportive onboarding experience designed to set you up for success (“white glove” onboarding) A collaborative, people-first culture recognized for two consecutive years as a Great Place to Work, with a third year underway Work Environment and Expectations Fully remote with regular business hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Must maintain a secure workspace and high-speed internet connection Use of company-issued equipment required Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality Demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and proactive communication Hiring Process Multiple-choice pre-hire assessment Recruiter phone call Video interview with Hiring Manager (camera on required) Equal Opportunity Statement Enjoin is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
