Civil Engineer

Position OverviewP2 Construction Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and versatile Civil Engineer to support our projects from initial bidding through final execution. This role is critical in connecting design concepts with field operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in civil engineering, hands-on field experience, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced construction environment.Key ResponsibilitiesField Supervision & OperationsProvide direct supervision of construction activities on-siteEnsure quality control of grading and earthwork operationsCoordinate material supply and ensure timely deliveryManage machinery scheduling and support field operations using earthwork applicationsConduct and oversee topographical surveysServe as a point of contact for clients, addressing field-related concernsProject Design & ManagementLead project bidding, including scope definition and feasibility analysisReview project metrics and performance dataDevelop and maintain pricing lists for materials and servicesApprove and verify daily project reportsDesign earthwork plans and define implementation processesPerform material quantity takeoffs and cost estimationsProvide ongoing client support throughout project executionRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field, PreferedProven experience in civil design, earthwork, and site supervisionProficiency in Trimble systemsExperience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar)Knowledge of topographical surveying methods and equipmentExperience with earthwork software and applicationsBasic IT troubleshooting skills (hardware, printers, ERP systems)Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
