The successful candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of product development, including the drafting, revision, and maintenance of professional liability policy forms, endorsements, and coverage grants. This role requires a strong understanding of claims-made coverage structures, the ability to translate underwriting and business objectives into compliant coverage language, and experience in developing and negotiating manuscript endorsements. The AVP will also be involved in advising on coverage intent, exclusions, and conditions, as well as supporting new product development from concept to regulatory approval.Applicants must have a J.D. with active USA bar admission and a background in drafting or supporting casualty-side professional liability insurance products.
