This role ensures that individuals who may be vulnerable or require special care are transported with dignity, respect, and adherence to all safety protocols. The driver will serve as a reliable link between healthcare facilities, treatment centers, and community locations, facilitating access to necessary services. Additionally, the role involves maintaining vehicle cleanliness and operational readiness to support uninterrupted service delivery. Ultimately, the driver contributes to the overall mission of supporting behavioral health and substance abuse awareness initiatives by enabling seamless mobility and access.Minimum Qualifications:Valid state-issued driver's license required. Must have had a clean driving record for at least the past 3 years, and no DUI's or reckless driving charges in the past 7 years.High School Diploma or GED required.1-3 years of driving experience preferred.Must be at least 25 years of age.Must have CPR/First Aid certification or be willing to get certified.Must be able to operate a smartphone to send mobile email updates.Must be insurable on company vehicle liability insurance.Ability to read and interpret written information.Must have outstanding communication and customer service skills.Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high energy.Flexibility with schedule, including availability to work on-call, nights, and weekends.Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.Preferred Qualifications:Certification in defensive driving or commercial driver's license (CDL).Previous experience transporting clients in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.Training in first aid and CPR.Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and client confidentiality protocols.Experience with vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting.Responsibilities:Safely operate company vehicles to transport clients, healthcare professionals, and materials to and from designated locations within scheduled timeframes.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any maintenance needs promptly.Assist clients with boarding and exiting vehicles, providing support to individuals with mobility challenges or special needs.Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents or delays encountered during transportation.Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and healthcare regulations related to client confidentiality and safety.Skills:
