Now we shape the future of smart robotics together!We combine world-class research with top-notch engineering and apply it to solve real problemsSome of the problems you may try to solve with us:Design and implement robot control and behavior systems for real-world manipulation tasksBuild modular, extensible software architectures adaptable across customers and use casesDevelop heuristics and data-driven logic for handling diverse SKUs and item categoriesDetect and handle real-world anomalies (e.g., double picks, item disassembly, mis-grasps) using multi-signal reasoningBuild internal tools and automation to speed up robot deployment and commissioningDesign APIs and interfaces for integration with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and customer infrastructureTest and validate software through unit tests, simulation, and on real robotsCollaborate closely with perception, ML, hardware, and operations teamsWhat skills we’d like you to have:5-10+ years of professional software engineering experienceHands-on experience with robotics systems, industrial automation, or physical systemsExperience programming industrial robots (ABB strongly preferred; others welcome)Strong proficiency in Python (experience with C++ or ROS is a plus)Experience designing systems that span software, hardware, and real-world constraintsProven ability to lead technically — driving design decisions, mentoring, and code qualityStrong problem-solving skills and comfort working with imperfect data and physical uncertaintyExcellent communication skills in EnglishWhat should you expect once you apply?30-minute recruiter screen60-minute technical prescreen45-minute hiring manager interviewOnsite or virtual interview loop (½ day total)We make the final decision after max. 2-3 days after on-site interviewImportant: Feedback after completing the recruitment processWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
