Brand Account Strategist
At Scout Lab, we build brands that advance humanity forward. We are looking for a Brand Account Strategist who sits at the intersection of strategy, copy, and client leadership. This role works closely with our creative and design team to shape brand thinking, develop clear narratives, and steward work from concept through delivery.You will be a primary client partner and a strategic cornerstone of the creative team, helping translate business goals into strong brand systems, campaigns, and digital website experiences.This is a hybrid position for someone who enjoys thinking, writing, and working directly with clients to make strong creative work happen.ResponsibilitiesOwn daily account management for Brand clients across brand campaigns, rebrands, and websitesStrong strategy and copywriting skills across various project types Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for client communicationBe comfortable managing and supporting 1 to 2 team membersDemonstrate strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills across brand challengesBuild and strengthen brand awareness through integrated brand systems, campaigns, and digital experiences, with the ability to think creatively and non-traditionally about how brands show up in the worldCollaborate closely with internal strategists, designers, creative leadership, and founders to achieve account goalsTranslate client feedback and business objectives into clear, actionable directionEnsure a high level of attention to detail across briefs, deliverables, and client communicationsBe responsible for communicating project status, risks, and mitigation plans clearly and proactivelyWork closely with project owners to ensure delivery against key business objectives, priorities, timelines, and expectationsSupport and participate in brand workshops, working sessions, and presentations as neededBuild strong, long-term business relationships with senior and mid-level client stakeholdersClearly communicate progress against weekly and monthly goals, both internally and externallySupport strategically on sales pitches as needed. Requirements3 to 5 years of experience in brand account management, account strategy, or project management within a brand, design, or creative agencyStrong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort with brand, messaging, and client-facing materialsExperience working on brand campaigns, rebrands, and websitesProven experience in client-facing roles and relationship managementHigh level of collaboration and comfort working cross-functionally with creative and design teamsExceptional attention to detail and quality controlExcellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreamsExperience working with globally distributed teams is a plusStrong presentation and meeting management skillsAbility to interact, manage and influence key stakeholders, including executive team membersAgency experience preferredJob Details:This is a full-time roleJob Details:The position is remote, but we prefer candidates based in New York City or Portland, Oregon. Some travel will be required for this role.
