Mainframe DB2 AdminO Fallon, MO (Onsite)Contract/FULLTIME Mandatory Skills: Mainframe DB2 Admin  Required Skills Strong hands‑on experience with IBM DB2 (z/OS ), utilities, tuning, backup/recovery, and excellent troubleshooting.Deep understanding of database security, roles, privileges, authentication, and auditing.Ability to diagnose and resolve complex performance issues using EXPLAIN plans, catalog analysis, and monitoring tools like MainView and Query Monitor.Expertise in database design, schema modeling, normalization, and capacity planning.Experience supporting highly available transactional systems in an enterprise-grade environment (preferably payments or financial tech).Ability to work independently and advise team members as and when neededStrong verbal and written communicationPreferred Qualifications Experience in managing very large tables in Db2.Experience with IBM’s Q-Replication (e.g., Db2z <-> Db2z).Experience with Data Sharing and Sysplex environment.Experience with Db2 Connect
