Part-Time Senior Accountant

Creative Financial Staffing is partnered with a nonprofit organization seeking a Senior Accountant to assist their team. This is a part-time, hybrid position with 30 hours total and 2 days in office.About the Organization:Founded over 40 years ago, they expanded their programming in the past five years to reflect the community changes since the pandemicThey support a large population of people in North Central Massachusetts with a variety of programsGreat longevity on the team--many employees have 15+ years in their tenureResponsibilities of the Part-Time Senior Accountant:Own the month-end close process including: Entering accounting information to QuickBooks OnlinePerforming bank reconciliationsCreating journal entriesProcess accounts payablePrepare billing invoices to fundersConnect with department heads regarding yearly budgetsBackground Expected of the Part-Time Senior Accountant:3+ years in a Senior Accountant role or higherBachelor's degree in Accounting OR experience equivalentExperience in nonprofit organizations and with QuickBooks Online are both preferredAbility to work a part-time, hybrid schedule of 30 hours/weekHourly rate, depending on experience:$35/hr - 40/hr
