We are seeking a motivated Senior .NET Core Developer to join our team in developing mission critical agency systems in a dynamic, agile environment.Location: Arlington, VA or Fairfax, VAWork arrangement: Onsite (5 days)Clearance: Active Secret clearanceResponsibilities:Develop mission critical applications in support of the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) missionWork collaboratively in an Agile software development environmentDemonstrate strong expertise in Agile development methodologies through daily sprint participation, task execution and adherence to Agile principles.Apply modern software development techniques for a modular systemHave an ability to learn new technologies as they are introduced, and the software applications and environment evolvesSupport modernization of software development practicesContribute to enterprise best practices and playbooksIdentify and support opportunities for innovationLead and mentor other personnel as neededContribute to system design and architectural decision makingParticipate in meetings, discussions, and demonstrations related to the development of applications and associated data across Classified, Unclassified, and Sensitive but Unclassified environments.Possess a foundational understanding of DevSecOps principles.Requirements:A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.10 years of overall web development experience that includes at least 8+ years with entity framework, ASP.NET, C#, MVC based web development using Visual Studio 2017 or higher.Five (5) years of .Net Core/Standard development experience.Five (5) years of Agile development methodology experience including participation in sprints, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies.Experience in web development using ASP.NET Core, JavaScript, C#, AJAX, HTML, CSS, XML, Linq or similarExperience as a developer in a software environment that supported more than 10,000 users, and a Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) with more than 250 tables and 1 million total rows.Experience in at least one software development environment with a minimum of 1,000 automated unit tests.Experience with DevOpsExperience with automated test frameworksExcellent communication and collaboration skillsExcels in a team environmentDriven to grow and improve both yourself and the companyMust be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearanceApplicants selected will be subject to a Government security background investigation and must meet eligibility and DEA suitability requirementsPreferred:Experience developing large enterprise custom web applicationsExperience working in a federal government environmentFive (5) years' experience of e-GIS experienceWe invest in the lives of our employees, both in and out of the workplace, by providing competitive pay and benefits packages.
