Machinist w/ Assembly Skills This is a skilled position at a prototype machine shop. The right candidate will need strong manual machining skills along with some assembly capabilities. Must be able to read blueprints and work with high tolerances. Duties include fabricating parts from raw material using mills and lathes. Inspection of parts using equipment such as calipers, bores and gages, tapes. Assembly of parts to equipment using various power and or air tools. Includes daily pulling, tugging, lifting, wrenching, reaching, kneeling, sitting, standing, walking action. The majority of parts are made on all types of manual mills. We do not do production parts or have "operator" positions.
