Job Summary: Under general direction and guidance, leads all department activities. Plays a critical role in maintaining a high level of inventory integrity. Prepares, monitors, records and reports information regarding department performance and progress. Complete understanding of warehouse management systems and Inbound operations. ResponsibilitiesResponsible for ensuring accurate and efficient receipt of corrugate and materials, including cartons, labels, leaflets and corrugatedResponsible for accurate physical and systematic inventory countsMaintains ongoing integrity of the inventory through on-going analysis and reconciliation of the physical and systematic inventory/locationsResponsible to review all inventory adjustments, investigating trends and pinpoint reasons for inventory discrepanciesWorks with financial auditors with regards to inventory accuracy and valueFacilitate the procurement of corrugated materials and coordinate dock receiving schedules in close collaboration with the purchasing departmentDirects receiving flow through working with carriersWorks with carriers to resolve in transit claimsResponsible to work with internal and external shippers to resolve shipping shortages and overagesResponsible to review all inventory receipt errors, investigating trends and pinpointing areas of improvementInitiates process audits. Reports results to management and make recommendations for areas of improvementPartners with Supervisors/Management from other departments to focus on all aspects of supporting the business goalsOrganizes regularly scheduled team meetings for department team membersMust handle multiple tasks independently with precise detail and follow up reportingResponsible for staffing, training, employee relations and business goals following SOP and ISO requirements. Provides project, cost improvement and team support while promoting a safe motivated work environmentAs required hires, discharges, evaluates and disciplines employees in accordance with current personnel policies"As business needs dictate, works extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks to include mandatory overtime." Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Experience within a Distribution / Packaging / Warehouse Operational environmentProven experience in leading external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirementsDemonstrate knowledge of budgeting and financial requirements Work Environment:Normal warehouse and office environment with some exposure to dust, heat and cold. Ability to perform light to medium physical work, exerting up to 40-50 pounds of force occasionally and performing such activities as lifting, keying, stooping and bending. Ability to have clarity of near vision with 20 inches. Experience:Three years' supervisor experienceFour to six years' experience in inventory control, resolution, accuracy and pickingMicrosoft Suite with an emphasis on Excel to include Pivot tablesWarehouse Management Systems, JDA, Blue Yonder, ERP, GPSII and RedZone Education:Associates degree required. For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $64,551.00 and $92,215.00 per year and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
