Behavior Technician
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans and providing support to enhance their quality of life. Your work will involve collecting data, educating clients and their families, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining accurate medical records and documentation.
Responsibilities
Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising clinician.
Collect and record data on client progress and behavior changes.
Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and care plans.
Maintain confidentiality of all client information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Assist in developing individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings, including home and community environments.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Experience
Previous experience in behavioral health or related fields is preferred.
Familiarity with medical documentation practices and maintaining accurate medical records.
Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
Knowledge of data collection methods related to behavioral therapy is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to educate clients effectively.
Understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and interventions.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
