Ophthalmic Technician/Scribe

We pride ourselves on a "team-first" culture where every member is treated like family.The Role: We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Ophthalmic Technician/Scribe to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a true team player with a passion for patient care and a high level of attention to detail.Key Responsibilities:Perform preliminary patient work-ups.Obtain and document accurate medical histories and chief complaints.Measure visual acuities (distance and near).Utilize diagnostic equipment, including auto refractors and tonometers .Assist doctors with scribe duties and patient flow.Required Qualifications:Proven experience in eye care is required.Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.Preferred Skills (Plus):Experience with Visual Fields and OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography).Familiarity with EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems.Benefits:Competitive salary ($31,000– $65,000 based on experience).Paid Holidays.Paid Vacation/Time Off.Company Description Locally owned family-oriented optical since 1985.
