The EH&S Representative is responsible for operations included within the E&P and Midstream side of the industry. As an EH&S Rep you will become familiar with all Local, State and Federal safety and environmental regulations. Once fully trained you will be responsible for providing on-site direction and leadership for workers to complete jobs in a safe and environmentally friendly manner. You may be responsible for many different aspects of the job including but not limited to investigations, hands-on efforts of remediation, training, emergency response, reporting, budgeting, etc.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesResearch and interpret safety and environmental rules established by state and federal regulations pertaining to Mach Natural Resources needsConduct Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) inspections on rotating basisReview operational procedures and practices in assessing company and 3rd party compliance with state, federal, and company requirements.Able to write audit reports with detailed findings & recommendationsResearch, develop, and implement pipeline regulatory requirements for PHMSA transmission and NGL linesResearch, develop, and implement pipeline regulatory requirements for PHMSA's gathering linesResponsible for daily monitoring of safety and environmental compliance on various locationsAssist operations is training and compliance for job specific tasksExperienced in developing and presenting information to individuals and groupsAble to communicate and exchange information and conduct oral presentationsMaintains training certificationsSupervises, mentors, and motivates company workforceProvides front line and back-up support during emergency eventsAble to work under supplied air in the event of an H2S or low oxygen emergencyCoordinate and conduct spill remediationsConducts routine and follow up safety and environmental inspectionsActs as a liaison between Mach Natural Resources and local, state and federal agenciesAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional groups on long-term projects or programsAlways represent the company in a professional mannerOther duties as assigned by supervisorQualificationsWorking knowledge in audit, compliance, operations and/or regulatory environmentsAbility to maintain a budgetAbility to identify potential hazards in the field and have the fortitude to use stop work authority when neededExcellent organizational skills with careful attention to detail and timely follow-throughExcellent oral communication and interpersonal skillsMust be self-directed and capable of handling multiple tasks with minimal supervisionAble to work effectively in stressful, time-sensitive environmentsStrong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)Must have a valid driver's licenseMust participate as needed in working overtime on evenings and weekendsMust be able to work a rotating weekend and holiday on call scheduleAbility to perform essential duties in an environment that entails a variety of weather conditionsHigh standard of integrity and professionalismMinimum Educational or Work ExperienceBachelor's degree in Environmental or Safety disciplineMinimum of 10 years of industry experience and/or professional experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS).Physical RequirementsAble to fit test and wear supplied air as neededThis position will require travel based on audits and inspections which could include overnightAbility to stoop, stand, walk, pull, carry instruments, and climb stairs and ladders for an extended period of timeAbility to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. without assistanceCapable of driving distances of 150 miles or more per day during all types of weather conditionsAbility to work significant amounts of time as required in completing job responsibilitiesWorking environment includes exposure to extremely loud noises in the field, hazardous chemicals, and hydrocarbons that may be under extreme pressure, for which appropriate safety measures are requiredAbility to inspect and have close visual acuity to perform activitiesAbility to work outside in adverse weather conditions for extended periods of time safelyWork safely with machinery and equipment
