We help organizations of all kinds redefine what’s possible, give shape to the future—and get there.What You’ll DoLead complex retail technology initiatives, with a primary focus on point‑of‑sale (POS) replacement and modernization programsOwn end‑to‑end project delivery across mixed methodologies, flexing between Agile and Waterfall based on program needsPartner closely with third‑party vendors, and offshore delivery teams in a highly matrixed environmentDrive program execution across planning, dependencies, risks, and milestones while keeping stakeholders alignedManage project financials, including resource planning, budget tracking, burn‑down, forecasting, and vendor invoicingServe as a trusted delivery leader for clients and internal teams, translating strategy into executable plansProactively identify and resolve delivery, vendor, and resourcing challenges to keep initiatives moving forwardWhat You’ll BringSenior‑level project or program management experience, ideally within retail environmentsHands‑on experience leading POS replacement or large‑scale retail systems implementationsComfort operating across both Agile and Waterfall delivery modelsExperience working with offshore teams and external vendors as part of a distributed delivery modelStrong financial acumen, with experience managing project budgets, resource allocations, and vendor spendAbility to navigate ambiguity and adapt delivery approach based on program context and stakeholder needsClear, confident communication skills and comfort working with cross‑functional, matrixed teamsAbout UsSlalom is a fiercely human business and technology consulting company that leads with outcomes to bring more value, in all ways, always. The hourly pay range is $65-75/hr. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
