If you’re driven by purpose, value collaboration, and are excited to grow while contributing to something meaningful, April Housing offers a place to build experience, expand your impact, and do work that matters.The Coordinator plays a critical role in driving day-to-day operational consistency for the Asset Management organization by coordinating recurring team meetings and cross-functional working sessions, maintaining centralized action tracking across priority workstreams, and ensuring core systems and documentation remain accurate, organized, and easy to access across teams.This is a hands on, execution oriented role for someone who is comfortable moving between cross-functional stakeholders and operational workstreams, serving as a primary interdepartmental touchpoint, supporting oversight of PMCOs and third-party vendors through routine updates and reporting, proactively escalating time-sensitive risks, coordinating strategic income and contract management activities, leveraging approved AI tools to streamline recurring tasks, and supporting special ad hoc projects as needed.Internal CoordinationWhat you will do:Coordinate recurring team meetings and cross-functional working sessions, including scheduling, attendee alignment, and timely distribution of agendas and pre-reads.Maintain a centralized action-item tracker across priority workstreams to keep projects moving forward.Maintain accurate, up-to-date property and portfolio data in Salesforce and other systems of record.Save and organize property documents using the standard folder structure and consistent file naming conventions to support consistent cross-functional access and collaboration.Maintain organized shared documentation and reference materials (SOPs, job aids, recurring materials) so teams can find what they need quickly and work consistently.Operational SupportServe as an interdepartmental liaison and primary touchpoint to coordinate cross-functional operations and keep shared workstreams moving across teams.Support oversight of property management companies and third-party vendors by coordinating routine updates, maintaining trackers, and compiling recurring reports to provide timely, accurate visibility into performance.Proactively flag risks and time-sensitive issues and escalate through the appropriate stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and avoid missed deadlines or unauthorized commitments.Support strategic income by coordinating portfolio-wide program execution, including stakeholder communications, maintaining trackers and recurring reports.Support contract management activities such as organizing agreements, tracking key terms and renewal dates, and maintaining related documentation.Leverage approved internal AI tools to streamline recurring operational workstreams by reducing manual steps, improving consistency in routine outputs, and enabling faster first-pass reviews with appropriate human oversight.Support special ad hoc projects on a frequent basis.QualificationsBachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Real Estate, or similar fields1-3 years of experience in fields such as asset management, real estate, finance, or property data.Demonstrated interest in Multi-family or Affordable Housing as an asset classStrong skills in analysis, communication, and organization and comfortability with AIAbility to function in a fast-paced environment while managing competing prioritiesProactive mindset with a focus on teamwork and delivering resultsCommunicates Effectively: Listens effectively and confirms understanding when needed. This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of the Company’s base compensation range for this position.
