Graphic Designer

Our client, an American retailer that owns and operates 4 brands that are well known, is looking for someone to join their team as a Graphic Designer in New York City! This is a 6-month W2 contract with benefits offered The team is looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented CAD Artist / Graphic Designer to support the design and development of accessories. This role requires a strong eye for color, material, and trend, along with the technical ability to translate concepts into accurate, high-quality CAD renderings. The ideal candidate is versatile across design tools and can bring ideas to life through compelling visual presentations.What You Will Be DoingCreate detailed CAD renderings for accessories, including colorways, materials, and construction detailsDevelop and present multiple design options across color, material, and graphic variationsCollaborate closely with design, product development, and merchandising teamsTranslate hand sketches and concepts into polished digital artworkEnsure accuracy and consistency across all CADs and technical filesStay up to date on trends in accessories, materials, and colorPrepare presentation boards and visual assets for internal reviewsRequired Skills & ExperienceProficiency in CAD and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools)Strong understanding of color theory, materials, and accessory designExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesStrong communication and collaboration skillsPreferred SkillsExperience in accessories, fashion, or product designKnowledge of current market and design trends
