Job Title: Engineering TechnicianDuration: Duration: 12 Month - option to extend for many years Location: Front Royal, VA 22630 Job description:Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support and identify process improvement opportunities through incident investigations, root cause analysis, and industry best practicesSupport fleet-wide compliance efforts and maintenance standardsAssist the Station Engineer with capital projects, CBM (Condition-Based Maintenance)/PdM (Predictive Maintenance) programs, and station evaluationsSupport station maintenance activitiesContribute to various station programs, including R-Stamp, ASR/GADS, and vibration analysisPerform other duties as assignedRequired Knowledge(Please ensure your resume reflects how you meet these requirements)Basic knowledge of engineering theories and principlesUnderstanding of advanced techniques and the application or extension of engineering theories and practicesStrong oral and written communication skills, including technical writingStrong computer proficiencyAnalytical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to understand and apply ASME codes, regulations, and practicesAbility to read and interpret station drawingsProficiency in computer applications, including the ability to perform engineering calculations using software such as ExcelAbility to work effectively both independently and within a team environmentStrong decision-making skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and process information efficientlyStrong planning, organizational, and project management skillsPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of mechanical and/or electrical principles, with an understanding of CBM and rotating equipmentExperience with SAP
