Forklift Operator/Warehouse

Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and warehouse equipment to ensure efficient movement of goods throughout the facility. This role is crucial in maintaining the flow of operations, supporting shipping and receiving processes, and ensuring that all products are handled safely and accurately. Duties Operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse and yard. This may include the movement of standard pallets, steel drums, wooden crates, racks, etc. Perform order picking using scanners to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Assist in shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading trucks. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring safe handling of products. Requirements Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse environment (2 years minimum). Familiarity with order picking processes and the use of scanners. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Physical stamina and strength for heavy lifting tasks. Commitment to following safety guidelines and procedures at all times. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
