Relocation assistance provided.Only looking for US citizen and GC holders.Job descriptionWe are seeking a Controls Engineer to design, implement, and optimize complex control systems for high-speed manufacturing equipment. This role directly impacts plant performance by enhancing equipment reliability and supporting engineering-based improvements.Key Responsibilities:Design, specify, and program PLCs, DCS, HMIs, servo systems, sensors, and drivesCollaborate with engineering, maintenance, production, OEMs, and vendors for equipment design, installation, and commissioningTroubleshoot and modify control software to improve machine and system performanceLead small capital projects and support continuous improvement initiativesIntegrate MES systems and coordinate machine data collectionProvide training and mentorship to engineering, maintenance, and operations personnelStay updated on new automation technologies, safety regulations, and best practicesProvide after-hours/off-shift technical support as neededQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics, or Manufacturing EngineeringMinimum 3+ years' experience in high-speed manufacturing environmentsExperience with Rockwell, Allen-Bradley, and Siemens PLC hardware/softwareStrong knowledge of motion control, servo systems, and Cognex vision systemsHands-on MES, robotics (Mantec), and process controls experienceFamiliarity with MS Project and SAPSkilled in AutoCAD, HMI design, and industrial automation programmingPersonable, driven, eager to learn, and strong technical aptitude
