This person is the front line of support for flight crews, the hub of all discrepancy tracking, and the key assistant to the Director of Maintenance in organizing and dispatching repairs. If you're highly organized, responsive, and passionate about aircraft reliability, this is a high-impact role.Key ResponsibilitiesDiscrepancy ManagementReceive, log, and track all incoming aircraft discrepancies from pilots and crewsPrioritize and distribute discrepancies to appropriate maintenance personnelEnsure timely updates and closure documentation for squawks and MELsOperational CoordinationAssist the DOM in planning maintenance actions and scheduling aircraft downtimeSupport field maintenance efforts, including AOG logistics and vendor coordinationCommunicate clearly and effectively with flight crews to troubleshoot on-road issuesAuthorize aircraft for return to service prior to flight. Review all RTS paperwork and ensure all maintenance is properly documented IAW all company and federal regulations.Documentation & ComplianceMaintain accurate records in the maintenance tracking system (CAMP, Flightdocs, or equivalent)Ensure timely updates to aircraft status boards and reporting toolsWork closely with QA and DOM to support regulatory complianceQualificationsRequiredAirframe and Powerplant (A&P) LicenseMinimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience with maintenance control experience.Excellent communication skills—especially in high-pressure situationsStrong organizational and multi-tasking abilityAvailability for flexible scheduling and on-call rotationProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointPreferredAircraft maintenance experience with maintenance control experience in Part 135 and/or 121 preferred.Learjet 60 experience.
